Cne 3 Short Course
Published in Paperback by New Riders Publishing (January, 1996)
Average review score:

Great study guide, not for the new-to-networkingIf you are already a "networking geek" the CNE short course is an excellent study tool for the Novell tests. It is concise and doesn't flood you with much information that is not covered on the tests. However, if you are new to networking or to NetWare products ... I would steer away from this book. The author covers most topics at a fast pace and will blow the novice away

The Confederate Cherokees: John Drew's Regiment of Mounted Rifles
Published in Hardcover by Louisiana State University Press (July, 1989)
Average review score:

Unraveling the Mystery: Cherokee Nation PoliticsBeing of Cherokee decent and having been raised in the heart of the Cherokee nation, I was immediately intrigued when I saw this title. The mystery of the internal conflicts and relations within the Cherokee Nation has been an interest of mine ever since I was a child hearing the oral stories. The stories were confusing then, and after reading Gaines' book, I now have a better grasp of the situation that was responsible for tearing apart the land I was reared-in and the people who were rearing me. Gaines does an excellent job of researching a subject that has very few sources available, and his writing style is smooth and concise. This is a very dense book; the information is packed in tightly. However, for a book on regimental history, I found it an easy read full of insight into a nation that to this day is still divided on issues that plagued them before the Civil War.

Connectivity: Local Area Networks (Enterprise Series)
Published in Paperback by New Riders Publishing (September, 1992)
Average review score:

Technical Info, Laymen's TermsI haven't read the entire book, but have used it as a reference. Its description of how a Token Ring network works is the most complete, yet clearest, I have ever seen. Anything I've looked up, I've understood by the time I've put the book down. The only problem is that, since it was copyrighted in 1992, some of the info is getting dated.

Crosscurrents (Nancy Drew Files, No 68)
Published in Turtleback by Demco Media (February, 1992)
Average review score:

Keeping it up!All of the Nancy Drew books tend to have the same pattern, someone asks for help in solving a mystery, then Nancy keeps on finding clues, until she solves the mystery. There is normally some more adventurous parts to the book too. Considering this is the way the books are written I think that Caroyln Keene does an excelent job in coming up with new storylines. This book is one for people who enjoy a good mystery. Nancy is asked to solve a mystery involving an aquarium, and some threats. Another great mystery from the best of them all Carolyn Keene.

Dangerous Relations (The Nancy Drew Files, No 82)

A VERY COOL BOOKIt's a good book 'caus it's not like most books were nancy has to solve a murder or burglary. and it involves circus life. i love the part were nancy gets traped in a tiger cage and Richard has to come and save her. and the ending is quite cool. so if you haven't read this book. buy it and read it 'caus it's awsome!
